So tired of "is this a good deal" & "stealership" threads.

yes please include that thread in there. I cringe everytime I see that thread. In fact that thread is what pushed me over the edge to try and get something done.

Also, the "I'm getting $$$ and I've never had money in my life so I want everyone to know by asking what mod I should blow it on" threads. ARGH.

Also, the "Build" threads by people who aren't building their cars. Painting your rims and dash and tinting the windows on your Lancer OZ isn't a build thread. There should be standards stating that in order for a thread to be a "Build" thread, you should be documenting the building of your motor, head, or transmission.

I agree with you on a certain level. But too much policing will lead to no traffic in the forum. At least the $$$ threads are aptly titled.

The Build threads that are actually paint and polish threads should be titled a little bit better to reflect their content. But, that shoudl be up to the mods and the thread creator. I good action would be to report the thread to a mod or the thread creator and suggest it be moved to the appropriate section or renamed to properly reflect the contents.

Just scrolled through the front page of EVO X General and there are at least 9 threads with topics related to pricing and buying a EVO X just on the first page. If that does not constitute its own section I dont know what does.

Guys, I can't make a new section just like that. This is being reviewed by Staff, and we're looking into it. We share your frustration as we have to move these threads in addition to reading them. We're working on it.

was there a "pricing" or whatever section in the evo 1-9 forum?

why should there be for one the evo X? im sure that the evo 1-9 forum got just about the same number of those stupid threads and people have dealt with those for all these years...

all people need to do is be a member of a local evo club, or know somebody locally thats owns an evo, or go to a shop. no offense but why trust some random dude online about your investment. lol

NTEC is very helpful and we have one of the best guys in texas to tune evos, KevinD. so it keeps me from asking all the stupid questions.

but then again, a stupid question to me or you might not be a stupid question to somebody else.

blah blah blah i can go on all day with this stuff. mods you know what to to
