Here is the thread. If I may, please read the entire thing before responding:

1. There were no rules broken, and it was on OT, to boot. So, why was it closed?
2. Why was I told that I was "pushing it," when my comments were directly based on the posts aimed at yours truly? There was no flaming (at least on my part), the replies were on-point, so what was the reason for killing it on OT?
As you'll see, there were two mods participating, yet neither - to his credit (!) - threatened yours truly, or closed the thread. Yet another mod, with whom I have a personal relationship that hasn't worked out in his favor, decided to enter with threats and closed the discussion. FWIW, he was the same individual who issued points for posting a pic of grains of rice <gulp> and cited reading my mind as his rationale.
Please allow me to quote him. I'm not in the habit of posting private correspondence, but since EvoM feels that it's fair game, so be it. At the risk of boring folks, I'll quote the relevant parts. Full PMs are available on request to mods and admins:
1st PM - "You should really know better by now....the only possible purpose of your post is to flame.
2nd PM - "And don't tell me you were trying to be funny, etc. You have an established post history of flaming/exceedingly sarcastic and confrontational posts. This one was no different." - This was said after I explained that I was joking. I've been called many things, but liar isn't one of them. I've taken points in bans in order to keep my integrity.
I would really like to hear why this happened tonight. Thank you in advance for the kind consideration.
