Did the site crash today? how come I can't access evom? I've been fed up with the evom, a lot of times I can't go on, pm don't go thru, this is the biggest Lancer evolution forum, make it better!!!

 

FWIW, 6speedonline was down also. same owners.

 

Since switching owners, this site has been down/running like crap way too often.

Yeap the site was down ALL day today. It has been doing it a lot lately and its rather annoying.

This was not just EvolutionM going down. Based on what I saw, every IB "enthusiast" site and the internetbrands.com site was down. As of now I can't say why, but the IB crew has asked the Super Mods and Admin to pass on their apologies. For the time being that's all we have, but they have people looking into the "how" and "why" the site went down for a good part of the day.

And, macPSU, considering your Summer '08 join date, I don't know how well-versed you are in the history of this site, but the downtime so far under IB has been comparable to less than what it was under Boost Labs' ownership. At least for as long as I've been a member of the site. (and that is beginning about 5-6mos after this site went live in '01) I say this, not to knock Mark (RIP) or Ali of course, both of whom put a lot of passion, dedication and love into building this site into what it's become, but simply because they definitely had more to learn in their working with this site than the more experienced current owners. At any rate, that's not to chide or anything, but I think your perspective is a bit skewed.

 

Do you have specifics as to how many times we've been down under IB ownership?? I'll take a stab at it.....3. Integrating a site as big as this one, along with our sister sites is no easy task. I agree with Hobbles, site runs better that it ever has, with new features we never had before. While we truly regret the inconvenience that this has caused to our members, a little perspective here isn't a bad thing.

Internet Brands sucks. Honda-Tech blows also since they took over.

 

Stuff happens were not paying for it we can't complain.

 

Would you care to give any specifics as to how this is related to EvoM? Constructive feedback can help us, but blanket statements such as yours are not helpful and really not needed.
