I'm pretty sure it's on the list. It was taken off due to not working, once these other bugs are fixed, they should be able to put it back.

its simple get the search back to how it was.
i fail to see how the search without bugs is better than the search with bugs that anybody hardly noticed and where happy with!
?
not dissin just being realistic

You're not really helping though. What do you not like? Is it not functioning properly, or do simply not like the way it looks? Is it a matter of recurring errors, poor results, or are you just not as comfortable with it? If you want us to take your criticism seriously, you've got to give us complete comments.

You can easily find threads you've posted in

Click on your avatar or user name, then click the Statistics tab. You can find all the threads you've started and all of your posts.

You can also subscribe to threads that interest you, as well as auto-subscribe threads you create

You still can. In fact you can do it for anyone.

Go to your user profile (or the person's). Statistics tab. Search for posts/threads by user, whichever you need.

Hi Otter , when searching the default type is relevance. this is fine for search items that you want. but not fine for uptodate info (thats probably a 50/50) grief anyway.
i get several of the same results (i posted a pic) on page 1 i think.
sure that never used to happen is that a bug?

search

is there any way to specifically search for something. For example if i want to search for stock fuel injectors i dont want to read a post that says "i am looking to buy injectors for my stock motor. I just want to know what size the stock injectors are without having to read 35 different threads before i find what i am looking for and get called a newb because i cant find my answer. Just an idea.

hmmm,, for that to be fair you need to narrow your search . i.e select the forum your answer is more likely to be in . i.e not the wanted section but more probably evo engine or evo advanced
go to advanced search to select the specific forum its more likely to be in.
more specifically type "what size are stock injectors"

the sort by date portion of the search is the biggest problem, the dates are not always in order.

It should remember your search preferences, at least it has for me. When the new search came out, I selected sort by post date, and it's defaulted to that for me ever since.

Also, the old search wasn't bug-free, it just did a better job at making you not notice the bugs Believe it or not, the current search setup likely works better, it just makes the DB bugs more obvious.
