With all the $ this site is turning it, the search seriously sucks.

 

As far as improvements for the new search, since the old search cannot be brought back:
I would like it better if I could show the threads by the post date of the last post made in that thread. I find it easier to keep up with threads that way, and find threads with current info. I don't like searching on a topic and then seeing a result that was from yesterday and then right below it a thread that the last post date was a couple of months ago, and then below that a thread who's last post is from today.

I also would like it if there was a way for it to only show each thread once. I have had times that half of the results on a page were all the same thread. I understand that the new search funciton is post based in its results. However this is not terribly useful if you are trying to check up on a thread that you have already read the majority of, which is most of the time for me.

Just my 2 cents.

 

i did a video searching for all posts by me in water injection which failed to list a thread i did post in that i found by searching google!!!
