50 posts is a lot of posts to be able to sell. Any chance of lowering this number?

 

It has been proposed to increase the number to 100, so there's no chance it will be lowered. It's necessary because it keeps most of the scammers away.

 

I agree. There are too many scammers on sites these days. This just keeps avid readers and members valid

Absolutely not. If you conduct a search of this particular forum, you'd see that I am pushing for 100 posts and 1 year as a member to access the marketplace. Search back a few months and you'll see multiple threads just like this one, with the same response.

I've been a member since 2004. Never had a need to post till recently. i bought a evo x 2 months ago. just got some kw's and looking to sell my stock bilsteins. This is why i'm asking.

That would be so unfair.
There is people like me who need lots of parts or want to get rid of their car because of a change in matter and we just found out about this site say a month or two ago.

How about take it into your owns hands. Ask for a number, adress, etc etc anbd calal and confirm before hand so you dont get jipped.

it will always be a never ending battle... as long as theres internet sales, there will be people ripped off... evom staff is/has found a system to get the spammers out, but sometimes there isnt enough in place to enforce it... a year is a bit excessive in my opinion, but either way...

How is 50 more post and 6 more months going to prove someone will not scam? I know some people can post 50 times a day, but most of us have lives and are fairly honest. Why make it harder fo the majority becasue of a few bad apples?

 

Dude, it's not that serious. A lot of people are not going to live on the cumputer like you just to get there post up to sell something. The post is not that bad, but 1 year sub. That admin thing got to your head.

 

I guess most of you will be stuck staring at your parts for a while. I am off to the market place for parts, might even sell something just for the heck of it.
