there are definitely some serious modifications that need to take place for the mobile site to be acceptable. in fact when it first came out (caught me by surprise the morning it was released) I couldn't even find out how to make a post about it. It's hard to navigate, no user names next to posts, among many other complaints that are probably pointless to bring up. I was having some issues with the other version as well such as, having to reload the same page 7 times before it would actually open up (Iphone user). All in all it's a good start but like I mentioned earlier, it needs some work.
Another Iphone user, Please give me the option of choosing which version I'd like to run. If it will auotmatically (which it has) load the mobile site, please make the normal version button functional. Thank you!
So frustrating that I can't view the "normal" version of the site on the iPhone. With the iPhone version, I can't hide forums I'm not interested in, can't easily see which threads have new posts, can't see avatars....just bad bad bad. I appreciate the effort but the experience was so much better with the normal, full-version of EvoM.
Android phones, especially the faster ones like the Droid and Moment, can load the regular site without too much trouble. Disable avatars and signatures in your Options and it is quite fast.
