Has anything been changed on the mobile site? On my iphone it is not showing in color only white and blue? This has never happened on my iphone before? Is there a setting that I accidentally changed? Or is there a problem?

 

It's not you, I'm the guilty party. I been changing the Iphone detection plug in to see if we can get a better one for the Iphone users. There is another thread in this forum about a Iphone mobile site. I'll try a different one. Thanks.

I really like it. It's much quicker using the mobile site now. The white threw me off at first until I looked into it but so far this is great.

I can't tell if it's quicker or not? But my biggest complaint is you can only access you're private messeges from the home screen, and now there is no home to push? You have to close the site and then reload it.

 

You can't use the search button is this configuration as well as not bieng able to go straight to you're private messeges, in fact I don't think any of the drop down screens work now which is very frustrating to say the least. I'm selling some stuff right now, and in the past I had no problem using my iPhone (while at work) to monitor both my PMs and the threads seamlessly, but now it is very hard and tedious to do, some times forcing me to wait untill I can get on a computer. BTW if I'm posting this on the wrong thread, please give me a link to the proper one, because I could not find it, thanks.

 

Hey speedlimit, no response to this? You cannot use the search button from the mobile site (at least not with an iPhone) it's pretty frustrating.

I can try another mobile format, however, keep in mind that others will not like it. It's impossible to provide a mobile format to please everyone. I'll change it this morning and see the response. Thanks.

Lot of functions not available like tabs under users. Statistics and whatever else they are. N this time out page error is nuts. Like every other link might work. Or back n hit it again.

Hey SPEEDLIMIT, Can you add a provision in the user CP to disable the mobile site? I know some of the other forums have this option. This way those of us that have iPhone's could use the site like normal, but others without can utilize the mobile site.

The tech's are trying to find a solution that will please 'most' of our Iphone users. The feedback is all over the map and an elegant solution for all is probably not possible. They are continuing to work on it. Thanks.

I know it's a wordpress plugin so it may do this forum zero good. But it's still an interesting idea and maybe it can be adapted or there's something similar. If you've ever come across a site powered by Wordpress with that plugin running, it is really, really slick on your iPhone.
