How about an Outlander section
How about an Outlander section
The New 2010 is really starting to look great and with the S-AWD system and the new nose. I am thinking that the AWD system is really close to the X's system.
I have owned both body styles (04 XLS and 07 XLS) and may be picking up a Graphite Gray 2010 GT this weekend. (gotta represent
)
It would be great to start gathering info on the V6 and what can be done just like has been done with the EVO.
What do you all think?

I don't think there's nearly enough enthusiasts who own Outlanders to make it worth it. There doesn't exist an aftermarket for it; short of sitting around and saying "OOOOOHHHH YEAH OUTLANDER!" or "oh god my radio won't turn on", what exactly would be discussed
?
?
considering this site started as lancerforums.com then went to evolutionm.net when the Evo came out, I don't think it's going to add a specific section for outlanders.
your more than welcome to post in the "Other Cars" section of the forum however about the outlander.

What RobertK said. Long ago, the site owners/staff decided to keep this forum dedicated to Lancers because it would simply be too much to start catering to all Mitsubishi models. There are other forums out there for the other Mitsubishi models and you're also welcome to use the Other Cars section.
I agree that it does not need to be a major site, but maybe just a single line down under the "Other Cars" section.
One that could be used for recall discussion, equipment failures, possible mods and results, etc...
This is a Mitsu site that covers all aspects of the Lancer and the Outlander is really just a Lancer that grew up a bit. Same chassis, same rolling gear, same features, same 4cly power plant, and more.
As far as the comment from the second poster, if you look at half the posts on here, that is what is talked about with the Lancer. So I really don't see why you think that is so funny.
BTW - Here are some pics that the salesman took. If you ask me, it will look great next to the 09 AS Ralliart with the 92 GVR4 lurking on the shadows

Vendor sales ads should be in the vendor marketplace. As far as content, that comes from our members, staff and vendors. I'm missing your point relative to creating an Outlander forum. Sorry.
