Searching using certain "terms"...

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : KW, V3

This is what I get when I try searching for KW's V3 Coilovers.

And when searching for Best Cai in Titles only in the Lancer Evolution X forums it gives me results for "CAI" but does not include the word "Best". Above the results it states:

The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search: best

Another example:

See, I KNOW someone has had to already started a thread asking what "The best cai" is. But you can't easily find it so people end up starting more threads like it only to result in users insisting that you "Search".

I'm seeing this as a flaw in the search engine, but maybe there is something I am not doing correctly and would appreciate some input on this. Thanks alot!

Searching KW V3 with quotes in the Lancer Evolution X forums gave me 2 threads.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys put limits on the size of the "terms" for a certain reason?

Sorry, I didn't take the time to look at the sections. If the results are limited feel free to start a thread. Worst case you get a bunch of links posted and the thread gets closed. At least you tried searching. That goes further than most.

Any limits are vBulletin based and not set by us directly.

The search setup is IB's own design, however, there's a 3 letter minimum for search words. It's there to avoid searches returning too many results. It's occasionally annoying, but most of the time you should be able to come up with terms that help you find what you're looking for.
