New Post Since Last Visit...

Could we add some kind of functionality to make it so that when we come back the site the next day and get our list of "new posts" since we last visited that you could get just Lancer or just EVO or both per user preference?

The new posts since last visit feature is one of my favorite site features, but the EVO forums tends to overwhelm the newest posts and I'd like to just see Lancer posts most of the time.

Thanks!

Steve

Use the main forum page and edit your forum list there using this page:

You get all of them on the main page? All the forums should show up on the forums pages, but the main page should only list what you selected.

No... I did get the filtered list on the home page. I pretty much NEVER go there so I was confused for a bit but figured it out. Only thing I don't like about that is the simple fact that on average there are 80 or better new posts per day... seeing only the last 10 or what-not isn't so great.... I'd love to be able to see everything new for just lancer forums all in one shot with the page format so that I can look at all 2 or 10 pages that are new of posts.

I tried this and it didn't work the way I expected/wanted. I typically use the 'view new posts' link about twice a day. What I was hoping was that I could restrict the new posts to certain forums and eliminate other forums from showing up. I selected a group of forums but when I hit the 'view new posts' link the next day I continue to see every new post regardless of which forum.

It's not a big deal - I guess the method doesn't work like I thought.

Dale_K... that's exactly the same deal with me... I was hoping that the forums selection feature would filter the "view new posts..." link. Not just the little list on the homepage.

Like I said in my previous post.. I don't use the homepage... just the forums page... so the forums selection feature is more or less useless for me still.

The Forum filtering ONLY affects the front page, NOT the "view new posts" feature.
