to get my point across, type in 'test pipe' into the search box and search. all i want is info on a test pipe, and i am getting crap for a strut bar, and even crap from the off topic fourm. honestly, i feel sorry for all the newbies that get told to 'search before posting.' its ridiculous how poor the search engine is.

 

You were looking for info on the O2 sensor bung as well. Just try and refine your search methods. Not all to hard.

 

Not to mention, you know how I'm always *****ing at people to look before they post? See how duplicate threads effect people who actually take the time to look for themselves? Ain't it a *****?

 

The search utlity isn't exact, but the best bet is to try to refine your search words and it can also help to try searching specific forums. For example, if you only care about US Lancer related posts, you can search in those forums only.

That is helpful too. Totally forgot about it. We DO try our best to keep reposts and unhelpful threads OUT of tech forums. General forums are harder to control in that respect. So if you're looking for something on your piston ring lands, searching engine tech is a safe bet you won't see a billion reposts or threads with random mentions of ring lands (though you'll see a lot of nitrous threads in this example).
