That is a confirmed malware trojan not associated with Evom and not served by our ad servers. You brought it with you. 
Hopefully you were able to remove it and restore your files etc. Thank you.

Actually my laptop got the same thing too. I got a trojan and some hijack virus that even gave me issues in safe mode. still trying to figure it out. I get on the work pc sometimes. It happened on my laptop and work pc too, but the work pc we removed it easier. It only happened when I logged on to the evom webiste. At least I know its not just me.
.....I'm installing windows 7 to upgrade from XP & AVG to protect, hopefully to resolve my situation....
I'm not sure if it's the same thing but last night when I tried to enter the site I got a pop-up claiming someone else was trying to reconfigure my desk top. No matter what I tried the computer would not let me exit the page. I had to shut down and restart. Did not happen on Socalevo or ls1 tech before or after I tried evom. I guess I'll only check the site from my iPhone until I hear or read that the issue has cleared.
Dont put AVG on windows 7. thats like putting an HKS SSQV BOV on an X. you just dont do it. causes internet issues, bsods, etc. go with something like nod32, or webroot anti-virus. both really good.

sorry.. kinda off topic... but why not hks on an evo x? the speed shop near my carrys the hks exhaust... i hear its quiet'er which honestly id prefer.. the car is pretty loud to start with.

SSQV being related to trojans and malware is awesome!! Maybe noobs would understand that description better.
Back to topic though, I have also spotted the popup from time to time, kinda random and I've never clicked on it.
