In regards to the on topic posting it is in the rules, but there is mention of deletion, not warning.
So that's why I don't understand the timeout thing. And no, Joel. Paul was kidding about the test subject thing.
BADEVO, I understood what you were getting at, but when everyone signed up they agreed to these rules. It's like telling your friend you'll take your shoes off when you go to his house, then getting shoe prints on his new carpet anyway. Our changing to a timeout system (using the same analog) is like sending the person back to the doorway to remove his shoes rather than kicking him out of the house immediately. Mark posts annoucements for just about everything that effects (or is it affects? I can never remember.) users, but occasionally, and I mean rarely a change is made without notification. I would totally understand if we'd made things tougher, but we really made things easier. Users who occasionally cause problems will not fall so quickly into the Banned bunch, and even those who cause problems frequently are now given an opportunity to redeem themselves. We're trying to make things more reasonable.
12. Our tech forums are here to answer important technical questions pertaining to the Lancer. The quality of the content is very important, thus questions lacking technical merit will either be deleted or moved.
13. When replying to a thread in ANY of our tech forums, the poster should have at least one of the following: additional content pertaining to the subject, a related technical question. Replies with useless, unrelated comments or questions will be deleted.

Andrew ,
As per what rule you just quoted:

1) Since when was Evo General a tech forum?
2) The thread which where I recieved my 4th warning, "who is the best tuner" found here in Evo General (which is not tech) and which I believe should've been moved to the Off-topic forumhttps://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=60223 ... this thread was not correctly being moderated, why? Because this, I believe was supposed to be moved to Off-Topic, why? Because it has nothing to do with any tech, (if you guys decided that it was tech)
3) I never stayed off-topic on that "who is the best tuner thread" ... this is what I posted

... It's not like I went extremely off-topic and said "so hey Andrew how was the basketball game you went to yesterday" <---- now THAT is off-topic.... That Nastea moderator should apologize to me and he should have a warning for moderating unapproriatly, IMO.

I didn't say it was a tech forum, I just pointed out that you should not have been warned. We'd already established that though, so let's move on.
As for the apology, that's up to Aaron. As for his punishment, if any, that's Mark's decision.
I'm not gonna get started on your warning again in this thread, Rubelcon. I think I stated my feelings on it pretty clearly in yours, but I would have given it to you if I'd come across the thread before Aaron. This is Joel's thread here, and we're going to fix the mistake.

Well as of now I am done posting here until I get my "YellowFever" account reinstated as per Mark promised in an e-mail he wrote me that he said he was going to do.
I want to thank Andrew and Brian for taking their times to answer my PM's and also to agree with me that I shouldn't of have received that warning.
Thanks guys,
Joel
P.S. when my account gets reinstated, please delete my current one "YellowFever014" as there is no need for me to use it

Reason: name calling

Here is the thing, I think MP5 is in the process of writing a book on internet sociology. He is basing everything on Evom.com. I wonder how I would be interpreted.
Oh and Turbo **** sucker is a 18 kid that found a picture of a modified DSM that he claims is his. JMHO.

Excessive flaming will not be tolerated for any reason. Users who verbally assault other posters on a regular basis will be banned. Name-calling is not acceptable. Moderator's judgment applies here. "You are wrong" is not a personal attack; "You are an idiot" is.
And again, this is Joel's thread. If you have complaints, voice them with the mod. If you can't settle them, come to Paul, Mark or myself. Worst comes to worst start your own thread, but please do not post them in other peoples' threads.

yellow i appoligize, i don't think i actually intended to warn you for that.....
Rublecon,
You know for a guy that said "i am not mad" or whatever, you sure seem to be upset about it.... maybe instead of warning yellowfever, i should have called him a *******, or a **** head?
Again, Yellowfever, i apoligize
What are they saying?
Anyway i had typed a reply earlier, after i realized what i did, but unfortunately since you took it public immediately, oh well.
EDIT: Since we bring everything public
Eric, i just replied to this PM, that you state:
If you would like to converse on this or any other issues, you can pm me or email me.

Nastea,
This is how I feel. I'm a member that contributes my fair share of help to others. I don't attack people just because I don't like them. Turbo Weapon if you do a search does nothing but attack Vishnu. He offers no help or advice nor does he shares information or fact to the readers of this board. Doing a search you will find that to be fact. Again search on my name and you will find I am curtsies, pleasant and most times help full to others.
I don’t believe he is a contributing member to this board.
So if you feel that you should give me a warning point then do so. I will not hold it against you. I do understand your position and completely respect it. In all honesty I think you guys do a great job.
Now to answer your question, No I don't feel that I deserve a point, but again you might see it defiantly and the rules are written in black and white. I feel I fall into the grey area here. I would not object a clear written warning with no points.
My Very Best
Eric
