Why can't we see our warning level? That would be extremely nice. Or perhaps be able to see everyones? Maybe that could be something that might be changed after the next revamp?

Yah. I knew they couldn't see the warning levels of others....just wasn't sure if they could see theirs.

The bottom line is it's KK's forum and he makes the rules.
Andrew is teh smart. Seriously though, 'yelling' is not the best way to be taken seriously on a tech-related forum.

So many people on this forum (probably most forums) are so infused with the illusion of democracy, that they really fail to realize that this is Mark's house. You're sitting in his living room, and you play by the rules of his house. First and foremost is the issue of liability; this is his hobby, and Mark doesn't want to be sued because of something a complete stranger did in his house. Secondly, he really is just trying to create an environment where people don't hafto sort through worthless post after worthless post filled with screaming or jibberish that the other 99.9% of us can't understand.

I'll let the first two quotes answer each other.

You are right these are kk's forums and if that's how he wants it, then so be it.

He is going to get sued b/c someone posted in all caps? (this is what the thread was based on, all caps, not other inappropriate posts) Stick to the facts...

Not to be a complete dick, but all of what you just said was pretty much covered in this thread. So if you are concerned about people putting the same thing up over and over that moderators have to sort through, don't do it yourself. Secondly, I got the point, I apologized and if you read through the thread you'd have seen that. Thirdly, as a member I honestly do a search on something before I ask about it or post it the second time. However, I feel that it is messed up for people to flame a person if they post something that has been posted before (if they honestly didn't know it was previously posted and did a search and found nothing). Again I'm sorry to be a dick, but when something is resolved, don't bring it back up. Number 1. I hate being lectured after something is done and over with and 2. It is more work for the moderators. Am I wrong? Just my two cents...

Sorry, CX. He's like a rogue elephant. I hope neither of you take the other too seriously. Like you said though, it's all be covered and the thread's run its course. I'm gonna close it. If you really need it opened back up again just holler and I'd be happy to oblige ya.
