Ricer fly by thread closed, why?

What good do half the threads on here do for the community??? Nothing. While a part are good for tech info, how to, etc etc, the main pupose of this site is for Evo owners alike to get together and b.s. about evos and everything that goes with it. I knew I would get one to whine about me starting a thread like that(Maybe He's a Ricer Fly Byer??), pretty sure I wasn't the first to start one on this topic and won't be the last. Point blank, that was lame to close the thread, but I guess that's evom's dictatorship showing it's ugly face. And I wasn't bashing honda guys, I was talking about people who do Ricer Fly Bys and why. Just wanted to respond but couldn't since the thread was closed...

This forum has gone downhill in the past few years. I'm surprised my account isn't banned yet because I criticize people's ghetto rigging bull**** and some of the mods come at me at full force. I remember when I gave some nimrod on the ralliart section crap about his ghetto rigged water injection that used the nozzle from a spray bottle. Also gave RRM crap for making overpriced garbage turbo kits for lancers and everyone thought I was an a**hole because of it. Guess now people know that their manifolds are actually trash. How funny...

Let me move this to the site discussion sub-forum so it will get more visibility.

It wasn't removed because you broke a site rule.

It was removed because threads about poor behavior on street typically never end well.

I'll leave this thread here to show transparency in my actions. If IB or one of the Admins feel that I moderated poorly, we can unlock your thread and delete my post.

positive criticism is promoted by the site. but the ricer fly by is bordering to "streetracing" in any form or kind. that is probably why it was deleted. childish anecdotes of racing, showcasing of speed, etc is not tolerated in this site. but if you have a video of racing in a track, roadcourse-it will be accepted.

huh???? in my original post, do i seem like i am promoting ricer fly bys or street racing???, i started that thread to make a point at how silly ricer fly bys are, not to encourage them...that was the point of the thread

Yup, some of the mods don't even read half the stuff they delete. 4bangn was talking about SOMEONE ELSE doing the ricer flyby to him. However, golgo is a pretty cool guy, unlike the majority of the mods on evom.

Moved the thread to off topic and reopened.

These threads do tend to go downhill, invariably ending with someone bragging about racing a Gallardo up to 150, then having a civic pass them later on... with accompanying video.
