When did Lancer Forums change? Will the old html work?

 

At least some of the forums are in the same places. I don't see why they wouldn't work.

Server problems led to a complete redesign. I miss the blue on white (I'm not gonna lie), but I think this setup's a lot more organized and looks pretty dern good.

 

I may eventually try and create the old look to work in here... at least for the colors of the forum. Then you can select that if you would like.

I agree with andrew that this forum is really organized an has a very nice format / layout.

But as far as the BG goes, I actually like this color scheme a little more. It's more laid back.

I like the potential that the new forum setup has. I don't like how when you click on a forum it sometimes takes you to a post way down in the thread. I would prefer to be taken to the last read post when I click on that link rather than automatically. Sometimes it even seems to take me to a link in the middle of a thread that I don't think that I have ever looked at.

 

It should take you too the newest post you haven't read. I'll double check to make sure that's correct.

Ok, I managed to recreate the old LF look almost exact. Just the icons and header and footer are different. All the modifications are there as well so you won't lose out on anything by using that.

For those who don't know, to change it you go to "user cp" then edit options, then change the style to LF scheme

When clicking on a post that I have never opened before I still get taken to the last post even though I have not read any of the posts in that thread. Still going to a random post within the thread every now and then.
