I'd like to be able to, though I'm going to assume it has something to do with server utilization.

Slows down the site for dialup users and adds to bandwidtch consumption. I'm fairly certain there's a few threads on this already. Currently the only people who can have any pictures at all in their signatures are staff members. Personally I've been a staff member for something like two years now, and even ours are only quite small. It's not my decision, but I don't see the need myself.

I think Evo's club members like Evo-NY, SoCalEvo, NorCalEvo, DC-Evo and Evo-Speed should be allowed to post small pics in their signature to represent their clubs.

I would love to have this little pic in my sig:

Thanks for listening guys.

Well I think regulating what is and is not considered a legitimate car club could lead to semantics and a lot of controversy. Not to mention we could likely still have the same bandwidth issues (to a lesser extent of course) and page loads on any thread that a number of club members posted in would be dramatically longer for our dialup users.

if anyone is actually considering it ... I vote against it ... honestly I hate other forums having to wade through all the sig pics I think they get horribly annoying and make the forums look super messy and unorganized

I agree with Aphex and Mike. It would make us look cluttered and low-class. Seeing big, blaring pictures always annoys me.

I understand everyones' concern about page upload time. I'm not proposing that the picture be big like the one i posted. The signature picture would have to be limited to a very small size.

Something small like what rexhunta has:

That should be the maximum size allowed.

As for what is considered a legitimate evo car club, that would ultimately have to be decided by KK.
