I got a weird email from evom and I was wondering if it's real, it prolly isn't but just wanted to bring it to your attention.

 

It's the Netsky virus faking an e-mail address. Delete the e-mail.

If it contains any attachments, then it should alarm you on why evom would you send you a file to download. We WILL NEVER send you an attachment unless stated otherwise.

 

I think that pretty broadly, evom will never send you an email with an attachment. And we certainly won't be sending zipped attachments. So if you see an attachment, it's likely a virus.

btw...emails that come from this site have the @evolutionm.net email tag. The virus email above is using @evom.evolutionm.net which is not a tag we use here.
