New site! Like it? Hate it? Tell us!
I can say yesterday I did not like it at all but today it has changed the layout some and it seems closer to the old way which I really liked. This is very big font sizes I guess I am not used to it yet. One thing I wish you could bring back the newbie/evoloving member/Evovled member status. Also I have DSL and things seem very slow now with this server. Before I could pull upn a post in no time flat now it take 4 times as long.
Yeah, the registry is being upgraded. It was a bit intensive because I had to move a bunch of images in directories, etc. It's pretty close to being ready, but I think I will have a few testers for the system to make sure it works and makes sense before pushing it to the site. There's a few additions that I think will make it much better than the old one.
For those who want to post pics as attachments, you can do this by clicking the New Topic or Reply to Post buttons. The form that comes up will have a set of options below the message box. One of those is a button labeled attachments. If you click that you can upload multiple attachments to your post. Any images will display as thumbnails with links to the larger image, so thread pages will show up a bit faster than before. It's also nice to be able to have more than one attachment in a post.
The forums will be shutdown in a bit to fix the search index, then I'll work more on the other areas like a link feature, the registry, etc.

I'm not sure if this is in the plans, but I liked how in the old site there was the collapsable forum possibility so that for a non evo/ralliart person, I could quickly scroll to the OT or US Lancer. Does that make sense?
If it does, will it be returning?
Other than that, I'm liking the original layout being brought back, but I like the new smilies!

Looking good, one thing I would change is on the home page, of the most recent posts, change color of font of the section it is in, EXP:
Picked up my Evo
Evo General
Change the color of "evo general" sometimes its hard to tell which is the next post....
Not that big of deal though

One more small thing I need to put in. When you search for all posts by a user, it tops out at 500. For us OT goers who thrive on knowing silly things like our OT post count, we can't do that anymore. Is there a way for us to find ALL posts ever made?
