Idear - "New Posts" in subscribed forums

On other sites, I frequently use the "New Posts" feature to find everything that's new since my last visit. However, I only really read 8 or 9 of the subforums here, so it's not very efficient wading through dozens of Lancer posts when I'm really interested in Evo stuff.

So - would it be possible (probably in the UserCP screen that shows subscribed forums) to make a getnew search that only returned results from subscribed forums?

Basically, filtering out the forums that you want to appear in the "New Posts" option.

It was brought up numerous times before. I doubt its possible, otherwise we would've already installed it when it was first brought up.

But, yea, I can see it being useful.

The only thing is the searching in vb is pretty complex, but this might be doable using the myforums feature from the main page. I might be able to just pull that info and use that for the view new posts search.

Now that I think about it, I probably have asked for it before.

Thanks, regardless.

Any new info on this? When I joined this forum, that's what I thought the MyEvom forums thing was for. I was kinda glad that I wouldn't have to wade through non-Evo stuff. But it wasn't to be. What is that MyEvoM forums thing for, anyway?

That's a pretty handy feature, except I don't use the front page.
