Presumably last post. That was what I had in mind anyway. No sense in killing an old thread that's still active (though I've never seen one remain active for that long).

I can think of a few (non-OT) that survived for a year... not many, though.

The off topic stuff should have time limits set on them. There's really no point in keeping those around.

There really isn't much point in any of it anyway. It's there solely for entertainment value. If anything I'd recommend a shorter term for OT threads.

As long as it's timed from the last post and not the first, I'd see no real issues with archival after 4-6 months... most OT posts are "current topic" type things.

OT should be left as OT Every now and then Peejay comes in and cleans up the older threads, as we tend to get people bumping extremely old threads... so he does his mass prune trick.. which does tend to help, but if the server could auto delete anything older, that'd be phat.
