If anything I'd recommend a shorter term for OT threads.

As long as it's timed from the last post and not the first, I'd see no real issues with archival after 4-6 months... most OT posts are "current topic" type things.

Every now and then Peejay comes in and cleans up the older threads, as we tend to get people bumping extremely old threads... so he does his mass prune trick.. which does tend to help, but if the server could auto delete anything older, that'd be phat.
