Is it possible for the mods to clean up or enforce the guide lines for the "For sale" thread? I really like the rules for it but no one follows them and its getting really messy and bunched up in there. Also would there be a way to spilt up the section into 3 parts? Im just getting sick of clicking on threads thinking its parts for my car which arent. Maybe im just a weirdo and like stuff organized, which i know on car forums is a hard thing to do. Im just throwing some ideas out there, i hope my voice can be heard

Could we clean it up? I know it's policy to make the thread title self explanatory (to a degree), but can we have some moderation to the titles? If it says "downpipe," maybe add "Evo" so I don't waste my time. Or if it's just like "Hey, look at this," then try to define it a bit?

 

Truth be told there's just a LOT of **** there. We do what we can, but right now it's a bit much. There's been a lot of talk about splitting the for sale forums which would make them easier to follow for moderators as well as for members. Thread posted in or started as recently as a few hours can quickly end up 3-4 pages deep in the forum as it stands. I wish I could give a better response than this, but I think citing specific examples would really help.

I post this a lot, but it never seems to get picked up by more than one or two individuals. If you see a thread or post that is in violation of the forum rules, for sale forum rules, in the wrong forum, or otherwise deserves a staff member's attention please use the report function to notify the appropriate staff member(s). We try our best to keep up with everything, but it's an overwhelming task, and history has shown that too many staff members do nothing to benefit the site. The more your bring to our attention, the more you help us clean things.
