Silver MR at dealsership in Austin...

If your interested, Gillman Austin got a Silver MR in last night, Jimmy (salesperson) wants to move it pretty bad. He's new, but was very interested in working on sticker or better. Unfortunately it does already have the gauges/pedals/shift knob/emergency brake handle installed.

No, I'm not "hooked up" there, or getting a kick back... he was supposed to be finding me an GSR 05', not an 05' MR. I just thought someone here may want one.

man i just got my MR and all i can say is just by the MR. you wont regret it one bit, if you think about it if you mod your evo the MR is a totally different platform to start from. there are some advantages the MR has that when you start getting more hp they will benefit the performance of the car. thats just my 2 cents, just sharing basically how much i enjoy my stock MR over my 03 works p2 and a couple of other mods evo. the MR is really fun to drive and the gear-box is really awsome i love the way it shifts. okay i'm done talking about how wonderful the MR really is.

later,

I am #1 on the list there, so I get their first MR. But I wanted a white one instead. I'm going to take a look at it tonight anyway.

Silver looked really nice in person actually, my friend brought his camera and snapped a few pics, I've posted them here. The 6-speed was definitely better than the 5-speed shifter in the 2003, the clutch was a bit softer from what I remember, the gauges were cool but I couldn't see them while I was driving coz they were placed too low. Love the vortex and the big wing.

Question: is it possible to get a 2005 Evo (GSR) with Xenon/HID? Looks like I have to get that $3k packages to get HID. But I do *NOT* want a moonroof, or leather seats, or anything that adds weight. But I do want xenon.
