Austin/ San Antonio Track Night at SAR?

Any interest in going down to San Antonio Raceway? They are having an Import Shot Out 12/10.

Hey Robert,

What's the deal? I tried to look up the link provided, but it wouldn't pull up. Are you going?

Try the link again. It works for me. I am thinking about it if we get any interest. I posted on NASIOC as well, so we'll see if any of the Subby guys want to go.

I will definately be there. I hear one the local shops with an 11 sec WRX will there as well. I'm not sure what car they'll bring, but I am sure it will be very fast.

We had allot of fun last night. The two fastest imports were Rick in his BBY EVO 11.7 at 123 and the guys from MZM in their 02 WRX with the JDM Spec C swap and an SR55, 11.8 at 121.

Congratulations to both! Both cars were amazing and had more in them. I don't think either of them got much below 1.9 with their 60s.

A couple of great cars!

You know I can't let you get away with out telling everyone about your "HIGH BOOST" run. I'll bet you'll never go to the track again without an allen wrench. Still wasn't bad numbers for your race settings Robert. It's good to know that us old guys still get good reaction times.

Yea, I ran a 12.93 at 107 running less boost than I run daily (also still had trouble hitting third gear). At least now I'll pay more attention to which direction I'm turning the boost controller.

I figure I could have run another 5 or so psi of boost with the race gas and probably dropped another few tenths, at least.

And yes, I did put the allen wrench in the car so now I won't have to beg and borrow at the track again.

There are closed foe the Holidays. They open back up 1/5 and the next Import Shootout is 1/14. We need to get some more EVOs and Subbys to go.
