Help! Austin EVOs

Hey guys. I am having a bit of a quirky electrical problem thats a bit hard to diagnose and I need to use a stock pcm from another evo to make sure mine isn't the culprit. (I think thats the correct name for it). i would be eternally grateful if someone could stop by and let me borrow their unit for a few minutes. PM or aim me under mayhemsi! Thanks a bunch! I'm sure I can figure out some way to make it worth your while..

I just need to borrow someone's little red box thats under the steering column. It controls things like windows, locks, interior lights, blinkers, etc... it would only take a few minutes...

I'm sorry I can't help. Go to the South Region forum and on several of the older(November) posts there are a number of guys from Austin. Perhaps if you pm them ya'll can get together.

What caused yours to fry and what were your symptoms just so I can see if they are similar...

I seriously will make it worth anyone's while if they can swing by and swap me boxes for a minute just to see if it fixes the problem! Surely someone has about 10 minutes.. I'm in the campus area..

fried due to a fuse going out while installing a new cd player and TT. Didn't disconnect the battery. No signaling, horn, selt belt icon, rear wiper, keylock (which I miss a lot). I have make the trip to a junk yard to pick one up. But my friend says that I have to fix the short b4 I buy the ETACS
