if people who really let EVOTEXAS be the representation of our club and view our club in a bad way due to the fact that he wants to voice his bad experience with someone here on the forums, those people are two things, narrow minded and completely ignorant if that is how they think.

I guess I'm completely arrogant and narrow minded then. Thanks for pointing it out!

And so the people who view EVOTEXAS's experience with Al as being a representation of his tuning abilities are different then?

they arent any different, no different than the people who judge EVOTEXAS without knowing the full truth of what he has experienced.

here let me put this in bold so we can stay on the point.

EVOTEXAS tried to resolve this with AL, he talked to him on the phone and got nowhere. no send you ecu back and ill return your money, no ill reflash you and see if that will help, nothing, absoulutely nothing.

and just to refresh your memory in an earlier post Al lied about never getting a phone call from EVOTEXAS, and he did at least two that i know of. guess some people dont have a problem dealing with liars then their are others who cant stand them to the point they want everyone to know what that persons true colors really are.

No one is disputing there is a situation, but the manner in which EVOTEXAS and your little group try and throw your weight around these forums is the issue.

If you want me to remind you of the posts that have been made just say so.

here, right here is your oprotunity to make good on it, the calls have been made and it seems you just pissed off the wrong guy cause i guess he isnt going to let it down. cant we all just get along?
When he called me, my recollection wwas that I was giving my suggestions that I thought he should consider a heavy spring in his boost controller or check for boost leaks as I recalled his boost falling down

He has never called me to discuss a refund

I will be happy to discuss a resolution of his claims if he wants to call me he is welcome to do so anytime

I can get along fine with anyone - I am not here insultinmg anyone or conducting personal attacks becuase I made 10 less whp on the dyno than I should have

Al, EVOTEXAS was using the stiffer spring, and there have never been any boost leaks.

i guess what i wonder is why wouldnt he be offered a refund and flash back to stock? you offer that to everyone else here why not him?

When a person has a base through the mail flash - I have no way to reflash it or make the tune more agressive safely as I already have set the tune the way I feel its safe without a wideband o2 sesnor check

In the case of Evotexas - I personally drove the car and logged the ignition timing before and after his base flash and I personally thought it was operating very smooth and well - although the boost was falling down slightly, which I attributed to his light MBC spring

When he called me, he did not say "I want my money back." He was calling to ask why he was not making more power and I told him my opinions on the subject.

Frankly, I think the manner in which you gentleman have handled yourselves in this example shows very poor tatse and is not something which I would be very proud of

If Evotexas wants to call me personally to dicuss this I am more than happy to resolve this manner with him man to man

Frankly - I think you guys prefer to linger on this and I think it provides you some amusment and enjoyment to continue with this drama

I find it sad that one of your club members was posting that this situation was a topic of great dicussion during your recent outing to Dave and Busters.

Seems to be a majority of biased opinion in here so here is an outsiders take from reading this thread.

1. Someone was warned about unnecessary vendor bashing in threads.
2. This person continued his actions and was temp banned.
3. The vendor in hand has never been asked for a refund and offered his advice when contacted.
4. The vendor is still willing to help even after bashing about what might be a 10whp difference.

I agree with UFO's statement.
