Novtec1 - You should be able to voice your own opinions, but isn't there something in these forum rules not to bash a vendor. I thought you couldn't bash a vendor in their own vendor forum. Who knows though I don't read rules.

 

I have a firm 2 week test drive period posted on my web site - ANYONE can test the product and get a full refund if not 100% happy

In this case - I am willing to resolve the matter with evotexas if he wants to call me and discuss it

That is not going to happen. It is a 5 day time out that he earned after repeated warnings over months not just one post. The issue of his banning is between Evotexas and I, not you. He and I will discuss the issue when he returns.

Regarding your stated fondness for the wonderful principle of freedom of expression, you seem rather selective about it. Earlier in this thread you actually said that you didn't want to hear from a particular person unless they said what you wanted to hear. The irony there is simply sublime.

In another thread earlier this summer you invited opinions and then criticized people who didn't agree with you. Exquisite!


Personally, I really don't think people in real life can be as ignorant as y'all come across on the board. Thus I months ago concluded that y'all are merely trolls intentionally trying to stir up mess, and stopped reading any threads y'all started. I only wandered into this thead because it sounded like one of y'all got busted for doing 191 (as verified on police radar, or something).


Y'all should try setting up your own board like the Houston EvoSpeed guys did. The welcoming, inclusive attitude with which you conduct yourselves would stand in stark contrast to the Orwellian nightmare that is the evolutionm forums. That atmosphere, as well as the witty and uncensored repartee, would almost certainly attract 12-year-old Evo fans from all over the state.

wahhh sharper image makes a bad product and someone says so. sharper image sues. sharper image loses and gets to pay CU's court costs. happens all the time. But I doubt that consumer reports will stand outside sharper images stores handing out flyers about how bad the product is.

Cody got screwed? Maybe, maybe not. TOO BAD. These things happen. The world is full of hard knocks. Get over it already. I would have banned him for more than 5 days as every thread that I go to for information about dynoflash is just Cody bashing it all to hell. Tell the guy to lose the hate.

 

This happens about every 4 or 5 months. Someone doesn't like Al or his product and goes so over the top, he gets banned. I am sure we all remember them. I know a few of the people that this has happened to and my advice is always the same, get over it. If he is as bad as you think, he will not be succesful. Don't drag our forum into the gutter because of your personal crusade.

If Al screwd evotexas or vice versa, it doesnt matter b/c either side can't proved. So by going on a personal crusade against a certain vendor in my opinion is not the best way to get things resolved. Just post your vendor experience in evo general and thats the best you can do.

A negative experience seems to happen every couple of months with dynoflash here on evom and I'm sure the evom community is aware of this.

Either way the ntec guys seem chill. Lindsey Lohan is so hott.. those boobies

What I am offering for $199.99 is a 20 whp guranteed tune up which raises your rev limiter and takes out the boost fuel cut. In the case of Evotexas - even he himself agreed that the flash worked well and made his car faster and smoother

In this case, he wanted more power than he was getting with the Base Flash. It did not meet his expectations.

There are many cases where someone does not like something which they have purchased.

Obvioulsy from the above post, Evotexas as very pleased when he first recieved the flash and only later developed disatisfaction when he was not making as much power as he would have expected.

From what I recall he made about 265 whp on a Mustang dyno with a cat back, test pipe - STOCK DP, and stock intake with MBC

As far as I am concered - this is a decent and fair number for a BASE FLASH and about all the power I could safely expect to deliver with a flash without custom tuning and testing

At that point his ecu was 100% stable, no pulling of timing what so ever and very smooth

Later, adding a full turbo back 3" exhuast, Intake and another flash which he admists was "pulling timing" he made 308 whp

I think any fair, honest and rational person would agree there is a huge leap between someone not caring for a particular product and wanting another on the one hand and someone "being screwed" or "ripped off" on the other hand

My personal choice on MY through the mail flashes is to make them totally safe and smooth and NOT ave any timing pulled or knock what so ever. In order to do that they need to be on the conservative side. This is something I am very clear about and the 20 whp gains which I promise are very under rated so that no one will be disappointed.

I rather have a safe and smooth product than one which breaks dyno records.

If Evotexas did not feel there was enough power then its just a situation where he did not care for my product.

I think its totally unreasonable and unfair the way this situation has been twisted and distorted into a claim that somehow Evotexas was cheated or taken advatage of.

If the product was that bad - then I ask you why as he making posts like the one he made above saying how good it made his car feel?

In any event, if he feels he was cheated or taken advantage of he should feel free to call me and I will be very happy to arrange a refund for him.

 

I don't find it entertaining how as in your current status as registered vendor of evom you poke fun at another vendor. Pretty immature by calling BS bust solutions in my opinion, even though you may find it commical its pretty dumb and degrades yourself as a vendor.
