ATX Last Minute Shop Day?
ATX Last Minute Shop Day?
Well, I notice that several of you austin people are planning on attending the event on the 14th so I am only assuming that some of you may have some work still left to be done before then. So, in the spirit of christmas, sharing, and overall boredom, I would like to open my shop up for use on saturday or sunday (Assuming there is interest). I will have a tech or two onsite, and can personally assist with whatever you may be doing. Is there any interest in such an event (yes I know its very sudden, lol)?
Noone has anything to do on their vehicles? I'll even let you bring your subbie friends if you want, hehe. We have a lift and plenty of shop space as well as expertise on staff for wrenching, fabrication, and tuning. This may be a little too short notice, lol.
The shop address is 901 Wagon Trail in Austin and the zip is 78758. I am going to open up around 2pm tomorrow and will have some food and drinks, etc coming throughout the day. I would love the opportunity to meet some of the community both evo and other assorted cars. We are looking for some prototype vehicles for some of our new products as well and will have our eyes open for potential candidates. My name is Peter and you can reach me at the shop at 719 5400 if you get lost, etc. Have a good one and I look forward to meeting some new faces!
BTW I want to stick with good old fashion BLACK couplings... this old fart doesn't like all these different color silicon couplers.
I'll have to come in on a Monday as it is my only "weekday" off?

Zeus: Sounds good to me. I have some black couplings on the way already as well as several at the shop in assorted shapes, sizes. I like uncolored couplings as well
hehe

As a shop we work on all kinds of cars, but today is mainly about people who like to do work on their own cars and just don't have access to all the tools and such to make the work easier and/or people who have the desire to work on their own cars, but don't have access to instruction. We are first and foremost a design and fabrication shop and spend the majority of our time producing manifolds and exhausts for various vehicles as well as engine management solutions and tuning.

well... if people are interested, I will plan another one for later this month. I need to have a Knife grand opening as well so perhaps a coordinated effort would be fun. I have a dyno available, but unfortunatly it is only 2wd for the time being ...
