I am from houston, but would be interested in making one of your meets. Saturday would be a good time, and early afternoon 2 or 3 p.m. if possible. Maybe meet up for lunch and then something else? I will keep on eye on this thread.

Has anyone gotten all the local folk together for a drive recently? Been hearing good things about FM 337 that is northwest of San Antonio.

I've got some rough plans in place to set up a drive for June 25th, it's far enough out, I just haven't posted it up here yet. A bunch of folks I work with like to drive, so we usually plan them out, then post the details up here for anyone else that wants to come along.

The thought was to start out on 620 (haven't picked the spot yet, but there are plenty of big parking lot places on 620) and take Lime Creek Road over to 1431, then 1431 to Cooper's BBQ in Llano and back. Start out around 9:30 or 10ish so we can get to Cooper's for lunch (but, this could be shifted so that we do Cooper's for mid-afternoon meal or dinner).
