Question San Antonio looking for Evo VIII

Hi, I recently moved to San Antonio and am hoping to become an Evo owner in the very near future. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some insight into where I should lookf for a used Evo 8 with low milage in the San Antonio area, and what price range I should be looking at.

Wow, you may be in luck! I don't know where in San Antonio you're located but there is a very sweet Yellow 03 Evo at the Acura dealership at IH-10 and Woodstone Drive. From what I understand it has VERY low miles (about 3500 ) and was owned by some well to do fellow with quite a few cars.

I'm not sure what the asking price is, but you should certainly check it out. I LOVE the yellow on the Evo. I had an Eclipse GT that I had painted Competition Yellow and loved it. The only reason I have a white RS is because it's the only one that was at the dealership the day that the battery died in my Eclipse. I took it in to get the battery replaced under warranty and drove home in the Evo instead...... but I'm not compulsive........ no.... not me......

Anyway, good hunting and let us know what you find!

Tony

You may want to look into getting a new EVO. They are not that much more than a used one. I was just looking at a few 05's at Westloop Mitsubishi and they are selling a nice black one for $30000. We are all meeting next week July 9th. You should come over. It would be a good chance for you to checkout all the EVO's in town. Here is a link to the tread. If you want to come shoot me a PM and I will put you on the list.

Deffinitely look at West Loop. I bought my 05 Evo from them for $28,300. They were amazingly easy to deal with and are really good guys.

Thanks for the sugestions. I have seen the yellow evo and the sticker on it is like 27,900. To me that seems a little bit steep for a used evo especially considering what you could get the 05 with the 10.5 hotside for. I just moved here last week, but I checked out the cruise at Best Buy on Friday and I saw a group that was primarily evo's. I suspect maybe some of them are evolutionm members, do any of you go out there on Fridays?

I'll definetly have to try to chat with you all next Friday. I currently drive a Silver 02 Civic Si, but it's lacking significantly in the performance department. Thanks for your help.

I'm actually in San Antonio now, but if I can find a good deal I'm willing to travel a little ways to get it. Could you let me know what dealership that is so I can contact them? Thanks for the info.

Randall Motors. It is an 05 MR, and been there for a long time - about a year. There is absolutely no market for them up here - haggle the hell out of them.

There is only 4 evos in san angelo, by next feb there will be only 1 since 3 of us are military and leaving.

For a fair price I might part with my evo. It's an '03 tarmac blk, all stock, with 14.1k miles.
