Evo in San Antonio
Evo in San Antonio
Just wanted a chance to vent. I live in San Antonio and have been looking for a used evo for three months now, and I had only seen one during the whole time, and they were asking to much for it. Yesterday I found one on autotrader for 23,700 at the Porsche dealership. So I called them this morning at 9:30 this morning and the dealer told me he had literally sold it 15 minutes ago to a guy in Arizona!
I don't know if I'm ever going to find an evo around here.

Sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time finding one. Everyone that I know that owns one is thrilled to death with their cars as I am. There have been a couple of times when it's crossed my mind to get rid of it so that I don't go broke modding it, I eventually get back to how much fun it is to drive and the bang for the buck you get.
Today I took my girlfriend over to the Nissan Dealer because she had to have her Pathfinder serviced. While I was there I took a look at the Anniversary Edition 350Z which by the way is a beautiful car. I actually pondered the idea of selling the Evo until I looked at the sticker price........ 38+ grand!
I've got way less than that in my Evo with at the very least 100+ HP to the wheels WITH a backseat, WITH a trunk, etc.... etc........
You should have caught me on a bad day, I might have sold you mine!
Good luck, I'm sure that one will eventually turn up.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Thanks for checking on the evo in Austin. I am deffinately interested. I guess if I'm patient and just keep looking, I will eventually find my evo. Yeah, I love the styling on the 350z, but not for 38K. Thanks again for your help.

too bad you dont live in killeen, near fort hood. at one time, I saw 2 whites, and a silver one for sale there downtown. Then the billy young dealership had their yellow 2003 still in the beginning of 05 and they only dropped the price to $29999. it had an @$$load of test drive miles on it too.
Definetly, let me know if they still have that white on in Austin. I found a black one in Austin on autotrader that I may try to come check out on Monday, so it would be cool if I could check that one out at the same time. I also found one listed in Dallas that I may try to work something out on.
I may be selling mine in a couple of months. I want to get a IX MR, and I'd rather sell it to someone than trade it in to the dealer and get raped on the trade-in. It's an 03 LY with 30K on it, with minimal mods. If you can't wait, there's a silver 03 at Northeast Auto Sales on Pat Booker Rd near Randolph. It has like 50K miles on it and they want 20K for it. If you may be interested, let me know.

Well the search is over. I found my evo today. I got a black, Stage 1 Vishnu evo with 22K miles today at the Porsche Center. I guess you just have to have a little patience.
