too late for 05?
too late for 05?
Hey guys, I know its kinda late in the game for this, but I was hoping maybe somebody could help out. After many sleepless nights debating over a VIII and an IX, I finally had chosen the VIII MR. Problem is, now I can't find one. I'm in San Antonio and I was wondering if anybody knew of any VIII MRs in TX. I talked to a salesman at Gillman and he told me there weren't any left around here, but I figure thats because he was trying to sell me on an VIII. Any help greatly appreciated. BTW, I also figure that if I can't find one, it was just meant for me to get a IX.

Damn, they are sure rapin you guys down there. You would think with high gas prices and the southern states being plagued by hurricanes right now that the dealers would be tryin to move these cars at msrp or invoice just to get rid of them. Up here in CT, there is a dealer sellin 05's ssl for $31999 and that price may be negotiable.
Is that the MR though?

They def still have the MR at Lewisville Mitsu. They tried to sell it to me for $36K. I told them the IX's will be here in a couple of weeks, so I'd give them invoice for it. Needless to say, they still have it.
I live in AR, and I went to MO to get my EVO MR. I looked on traderonline, and found a few (mostly in CA, and NY), but one in MO. So I called them up and they still had it so I went and got it. Good luck! I also found one in Texarkana, AFTER I bought mine.
Ask for Lee Chief Anderson at Lewisville if you do buy from them. Say Raul sent ya'. He's my friendly neighbor... always stops by and asks how my VIII is doing. Also asks if I've mod'd it yet

lewisville, TX still has the apex silver 05 mr but I think the web price has gone down to $36K, much better than what they wanted at first. ha!
