if I don't find a buyer I'll just trade in. I think trade in value is 22k and retail value is 25k stock. with 9k in mods and new rubber it seems to me that 28k is fair.

you will never get the money back you paid for your mods.

Like I said... if I don't find a buyer in a week, I'll just trade in. My MR should be in next week. I will take my Apex toys off though.

tires count as mods? and clutch as well?

what that tells me is you hammered on the car, went through a set of tires in 12.5k miles, and also went through the stock clutch. you will not get anywhere close to 28 for this car. i paid 30 for mine with 15 miles on it, no one is going to want a car that has been ragged on for 16k miles for 2k less then a brand new one. sorry, just my 2 cents

It is required to run the APS CAI if you want to keep the IC sprayer. It is a reservoir that replaces the stock reservoir.

Well kevin, yes, i think most people would consider a new clutch and new performance tires to be a modification to the overall stability and function of a vehical, especially an Exedy clutch, the conclusions you draw are rediculious and lack common sense. This Evo was treated with the utmost care and the mods made to this vehicle during its drivetime were to improve its performance only, not because it was "hammered".

incorrect. new tires are not a modification if they actually decrease the traction and thus handling of the car. the A046 tires that come stock have a wear rating of 160, while the ES100 are 280. grated this is not a measure of tractive capability, but it indicates how soft the material is. because both tires are rated from yokohama, you should expect better dry handling with the A046 because it is a softer compound. for this same reason, the A032R have a wear rating of 60 (one of yokos best DOT legal tires).

don't fool yourself man... i know it is an sweet car, but you wont get more then 25 for it tops. as a trade in maybe 22. additionally, i think you will find you might get MORE for it if it is completely stock. your mods are not worth much on the car, and certainly not anywhere close to what you paid for it.

just ask killa zilla what he invested in his STI, and what he sold it for....

i'm just someone speaking from experience.
