Tires: Why not a Group Buy?
everyone start asking around and lets see who wants to deal tires...
Why don't we see if we can get together for a huge discount?
We all need new tires eventually.
They sit on the shelf at the warehouse until we buy 'em.
Every time I buy, I negotiate w/the power of ONE.
I would expect them to ship anywhere we want since no one would have the stock we need.
Assuming we have 10 buyers to barter with,
everyone start asking around and lets see who wants to deal.
The Discount Tire in Cedar Hill with a group buy is willing to match prices we find and mount for free:
this is what I've found so far for us at 255x40x17:
$152 Falcon Azenis 615 (TxEvo8 and Devo330 are getting these and I need'em ASAP)
$195 Toyo RA1
$133 Kumho exsta mx
$148 BFG kdw2 This is what I just ordered from Discount Tire for Friday install
$120 BFG kdws
$215 BFG kd
LAST CALL I NEED TIRES ASAP

Personally, I'm looking for another set of Kumho Ecsta MXs. I ran them in Autocross this season and they did a really good job and have held up against my abuse. Right now I'm running my autocross set on the street.
I like the ADVANS which are now dead. All four had no tread left and one was corded when I finally put them in their grave. GRTS.

What have you heard about the Subie stock tire: Bridgestone RE0750 (treadwear~140) $200 (not to be confused w/the RE 750 street tire)

I need tires before then, I need 'em now
Are you ready to order today?
