OK, I am not from the area but that sounds like fun. What would I have to do to be able to get out on the track or run the autocross? Do I just show up with a helmet or do I need a cage, fire extinguisher, race suit....

I run autocrosses down here and I just show up in full street trim (+subs in the trunk). Would I have to tape my headlghts and all that stuff?

03 EVO Vishnu V390++ with Xede (315 awhp on 93) I used to run STU for autocross but with my carbon fiber trunk I got bumped to SM which sucks for me on street tires when everyone else has slicks.

 

If you want to get out on the track at MSR. I need $95 before June 21st to reserve your spot if you want to drive on the track. For that you'll get professional driver training in the morining and track time in the afternoon on either the 1.7 mile or 1.3 mile road coarse. You can come out to show off the car for free and talk to other enthusiast. You don't have to do anything to prep your car but if you opt for the track time you will need a fire suit and helmet if you don't have one MSR rents them.
