Where are the NTEC members? Nobody's interested in driving the Speedway?

 

Just want to bump this back up...I can't believe there isn't more interest. Also, what is the scoop?

Is there some place we sign up in advance? Any rules/information we need to know? What times? I don't want to just show up and not be able to get in. Anyone know where we can get some details?

 

This is a great chance for NTEC to give back to the community. Let's show up and make a difference!

So its $25 for 3 laps according to the web sites.Is it 3 laps and done for the day or $25 for each set of 3 laps?

 

I may be able to make it. I still don't know yet if I'm off sat yet.

 

I think it's $25 for each 3 lap set...I don't know why they'd want to restrict how many times you can do it. Probably depends some on the turnout.

I'm planning to go early.

 

Anybody got an extra $2800? We can have our own 500 mile Nascar style race.

 

You just get back in line and give them another $25. Then you hang out with everyone in the infield when you are done or go grab a bite to eat....

 

man i wish i had never left TX. I would sign on but thats like my own 500 mile road race just to get there, lol.

WOW...I just found the website with the details about the event. It's from 5PM until 10PM. I'm going to have to see if I can make it now...I figured it was an all day event or at least started at a decent hour in the morning.

I've got quite a bit of that at home.

I'm still going to try, but I have some dinner plans that night, so it will depend on how flexible those plans can be.

 

I don't know anything about wine, so I'm sure you would be very disappointed
