Like I said in my earlier post, FP is not a performance shop. They are a turbo developer and manufacturer. They use their shop for internal testing...

I have heard great things about Autoscope in Plano. They have a good reputation as a service facility, and have recently installed an AWD dyno and expanded more performance work. No personal experience, but others tell me they are have the best reputation in the area right now...

As for Kevin's comments, I agree with learning to work on one's own car. That really is the best way to know any new vehicle you buy. There are a few folks around that are willing to help someone get their feet wet. For instance, we just had an Evo tech day last month at Don Herring for that purpose...and plan to have those several times a year.

dridge11 picked up a few concepts at the tech day...

Well, Kingpin have not proven themselves here yet, but that is better than repeatedly proving that they are bad like some other shops.

I would give Kingpin a chance on the smaller things like springs and such before bigger installs. For mechanicals, Don Herring in Irving will also take care of you...

I meant mechanical parts...as in I am not sure how much custom wiring for electronics DH will want to do. But you could always ask the service manager Marty...

Wing Installation

Anyone know where I can get a wing installed? I ordered the wing from the 01-03 body style lancers for my 06 ES and it came with all the parts to install but i do not trust my self to install it cause im going to have to drill holes in my trunk. does anyone know where i can go to get this done and how much it would be? any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

i'd say take it to a reputable body shop. I mean drilling holes in a trunk is no big deal just takes time, patience, and measurements. But at least if you take it some where for maybe say 20-30 bucks tops for the 4 holes they can take responsibility.
