Quote: Just want to know why. I need better answeres other than "no alamo"
Alamo is a little place with nowhere to sit or do anything. Also, last October they strapped my car on the dyno wrong and pushed my exhaust up, which melted my bumber after 20 minutes on the dyno. Brice said he would take care of it and get me a bumber shield to cover the melted and discolored part up. It took ~40 emails, ~15 calls and 7.5 MONTHS for him to finally get the part to me. He also said he would give me a $200 credit towards parts installs because of the headache I had to go through. When I went to USE the credit to have them install my intake cam, he said he wasn't going to give me a credit and I would have to pay $200 to have the install done.

I hope that explains why I will not be setting up ANYTHING at Alamo, and for future tunes I will be doing all I can to not have anything there. I would rather pay to have my car SHIPPED out to TurboTrix and custom tuned than drive down to Alamo for a tuning session.

We checked out Kingpin at the open house today, and they are going to jump right into the Evo market. They look like they have potential to be a great alternative. We will be talking further with the ownership about sponsorship and having some tune and dyno days once the Mustang is in place.

I'm interested in Mark coming to Kingpin. Count me in for sure. I'd prefer august, even sooner if possible.

It was nice to meet you, Ethan, at Kingpin today. I agree that it should prove to be a nice alternative for us. Looking forward to spending some $ in advance of Mark flying down again.

What date is good for everybody? How about the first or second week of September?

Before finalizing the location, you probably want to give Mark (TT) a call. I believe he draws the line at using Dynapack because of the lengthy changeover time (pulling all four wheels) for each car.

Kingpin is a Mustang dyno. The ownership of Kingpin will want to talk with Mark before plans are made...the first step is to get them talking.

I'll contact TurboTrix and Kingpin once I find out an approximate date that is good for everyone. Some want August and some want September...if everyone give me some dates that are good, I'll figure out what's the most popular and start setting things up.

Sat. 2nd or Sun. 3rd of September would be perfect so I can make the HPDE the next weekend.

BlownIncome, you've got pm.
