That was one of the FP cars to be unveiled next week. Robert was even down here personally doing the ECU reflash. Hopefully we will be able to get it to the Dyno so we can have printouts for July 1st. Robert seems pretty confident that we will actually beat the advertised specs based on his R&D.

The only thing is that I heard it's going to be like 4500 to purchase and install, and thats only for the 310.

If you cost the parts/tax/shipping to get the items you need to actually get your Evo to 310 WHP, then include some minimal amount for labor, it is a very good price. Then try to factor in the impact that doing it yourself will have on the factory warranty of your brand new Evo IX, while the FP310 is covered. The price keeps sounding better.

In preparing my car for autocross, I keep track of all my mod expenditures. It really adds up fast. I've probably spent 2X this amount just on power related items and don't have a whole lot more power than the FP310. Sometimes I wish that I didn't keep track of the costs. It's ends up being a lot more than you think.

Cheers,
Mark

Actually I think that is quite high, for a 9 you don't need that much in mods to make that much power. The Buschur and Warralton package for $1330 I believe will get ya in the 11's with a good driver. I am sure that is more than 310 AWHP.

Thanks Mark. FP has poured a lot of time into the R&D of these packages. Both FP and I have labored long and hard to make the packages as affordable as possible and believe that they offer the most bang for the buck of any turn key package available.
