I have a question for you guys. Would any of you be interested in getting tuned on Friday the 28th?? Mark will be here Friday and he was just wondering if he can split the tune for 2 days and try to even the tunes out between Friday and Saturday.

I got something goin on Friday night. I'd still rather have it on Saturday for me. But maybe you can split us up and some other guys can do it on Friday.

 

Guess what guys.... I opened my walbro pump box for the first time last night and all the stupid box has is just the pump. No filter element or anything. Can I use the stock filter element or should I just get a kit that lancershop sells for like 19 bucks and 2nd day air it??

ps... I know I am stupid for not checkin the box when it came.....doh!!!

 

Ray it's cool man, you don't need the kit. The pump is a direct replacement, so it bolts right back up with no problems. You will just use all the stuff off the stock pump, just don't go yanking and pulling cause the gasoline can make the plastic britle. If you need help just give me a buzz I am doing my friends this Sunday so if you'd like I can do his with you on speaker phone (free weekends) and walk you through step by step on yours while doing his, his is an 03 also. No sweat

+1 you do not need the kit to install the pump. Just make sure you seat everything back together correctly.
