Turbo install question

i just recently purchased the atp stealth 35r turbo kit but im still on stock ecu.. would it be alright to install the turbo and just get the ecu flashed? or do i need to buy a stand alone first. i would like to put it on and run what im running rite now around 21psi. also anyone here wanna help install? ill suply beer food drinks and some money for the work if anyone is intrested

If you do put it on do not run 21 psi, that turbo will be pushing a lot more air than the stocker, the tune will not even be close.

yea thats what i figured...im not so sure if i wanna put it on now. if i did i would prolly set it at 15-18 psi. so does anyone know about the ecu flash? or do i need to get an aem ems

I wouldn't even hit boost without getting tuned, only place local you can get it reflashed is FP otherwise you will have to find someone out of town. If you have the money go ems.

nope...me broke after this turbo kit..no money for like 3 months i cant wait that long where is fp?

i have ecu flash no need for a stand alone, the stock ecu is quite capable. bear with me though, i JUST got the ecuflash and am still figuring out how it works.
