Yes.

No you should order it ASAP so you can have it on before the tune.

1. You would simply order all your parts and the XEDE.

2. A) Send your ECU in to get XEDE Flashed (scales the injectors and raises the rev limit).
OR
B) Shiv can do it at the dyno day.

3. IF you do A) then you can just load the XEDE map for the v400 from the Vishnu site and your set.

If you do B) then you'll be all set with a custom tune at the dyno day.



So I hope I confused you enough hurley. Call Calvin for more details.

 

Thanks Q-TAR. All that dramma for nothing (but I'm french, so it goes without saying that there is always a bit of complaining going on). Now I need a killer bolt on turbo so I can slap it on before the tune..........Shiv, COME ON MAN....get that turbo spooling.

Please post your tuning requirements so I can relay that info to Calvin in a consolidated format.

Shiv can either flash your stock ECU for your mods OR if you get an XEDE you can have multiple maps and continous wideband monitoring and adjustment to your tune thru SMART.

What about subi guys. I have one from Louisiana that would like to come over an get a tune but he has a cobb access port. I wonder if Shiv could tune that?

 

So that means day 2 guys (like, ahem - me) should NOT make a payment right now, right? What is the deadline/day where I can pounce if all 8 haven't signed up and paid yet?

i'm interested in the same question, i'm purchasing a full stage one from vishnu and installing it before dyno day IF i can get a for sure slot but the second day stills looks like its a maybe. i can't make any purchases until i get that verification, and i do plan on checking this thread at least twice a day for a followup.

 

Hurley, I really don't know about you getting a custom tune by Shiv as the plan is only for a one day event as of now. If you want my suggestion, you should go ahead and get the whole Vishnu stage 1 kit, that way you can take advantage of the upgrades even if you don't get custom tuned. You can just download the stage 1 maps from the Vishnu site if you don't get custom tuned, its really no big deal.

Listen up everyone else: Everybody from the first day should go ahead and make a payment to Vishnu, that way we can get a better idea of who will drop out or not. Please do that as soon as you can so that the second day folks can have an idea of their chances.

Cajun: I haven't had much luck with the Suby forums. Did you find out if Shiv can tune your friend's car?

 

I should be able to send out my payment tomorrow. i already spoke to calvin about paying with a money order, he said it was cool and just to get it taken care of asap.

Hello Everyone,

I made a mistake scheduling Shiv's time. There is going to be a conflict with the dyno day on the 7th, reason being Shiv will have a race on that weekend. Would it be ok with everyone to move the dyno day to the following weekend? I appologize for being a terrible human being... =P

 

I'm out for sure that weekend... my wife and I are on vacation! I guess I'm going to toss the idea of ever having an Xede/SMART tuned correctly...

 

Awesome!!! That is a much better weekend for me, honestly. I was kinda worrying about getting 3 straight weekends off (since I signed up for that Don Herring Track Day and I have Cowboys Tickets on October 15th). Now I can drive down to Houston on Friday/Saturday and back up to Dallas on my way home Sunday to catch the game.

Now hopefully I can make it on the list and we still will have enough to do a full dyno day...
