Wow... I was even mentioned in the thread, but no one told me this was going on!

Then, I saw how "proud" they were of their dyno, and became less interested. Maybe if Shiv gives me a break on fixing my last tune, I'll still give it a go.

Engine Logics is charging us $1400 for a total of 10 hours of dyno time.

Its Shiv who can only tune a max of 8 cars per day.

Engine Logics will not sell a group, individual time slots. We have to lease the dyno for 10 hour day regardless of how many cars get on the dyno. Absurd, but its all we got.

So I figure, this gives us a "tune time" on the dyno of about an hour w/ a buffer/setup time of 15 mins each.

I don't know about refunds either but it was a suggestion from Jorge T and it seemed to work for the last group. It helps to keep everyone in there time slot.

Mitsuorder is doing me (and all of us for that matter) a favor by contacting Engine Logics as I'm currently out of the country and going broke with all the international phone charges.

Zeus: let me know if you work something out with Shiv.

I say it is worth it. A tune on a good dyno by a real tuner is worth the extra money. I have also spoken with another Louisiana guy frost318 and he would like to attend as well. The $ might freak him out....

Put me down for a six pack, a mexican stripper, and a tune!

I'm getting my bolt ons so I'll be ready. Does Shiv prefer a MBC, the boost emulator hose, or stock for boost control?

It is almost certain that one or two people will cancel and / or we will probably have enough people for the second day. I'm sure people on the standy-by list will get taken care of.

Keep those confirmations coming in by responding to this thread.

Sign me up for standby/second day. Mine is hinged on now though if Vishnu can get the cam gears and SMART to me in time (ordered 2 months ago) that I can have them installed and ready for this date.

Ok guys just got off the phone with Chris of Engine Logics. The guy is super nice and his concerns were completely justified.

Standard daily rate for their dyno is $1600 a day. He is offering it to us for $1400 a day or $1200 a day if we need it for two days. If we only end up with 2 cars showing up for the second day the full day must still be payed for.

Chris said that we are welcome to BBQ and make it an enjoyable experience. If any alcohol or narcotics show up then the doors to the dyno will be shut and everybody's out. I personally like this policy quite a bit.

edit: Also, I asked what his schedule looked like for the beginning to middle of October and it's open.

Guys I was thinking either Sept. 30 or Oct. 7. I can't do it any later as I'm trying to make a track day. What do you guys say?
