I have an Evo 8, 2005 23k miles. As my rpm's go up at 3k my car began to sputter. O.k I check the O2 sensor and ran the car again, it sputters at 4k rpm.
Now I checked the spark plugs and ran 4100rpm and it sputter again. Checked the coils and car sputters at 4200rpms. Injector and fuel line is fine. What the hell is going on with my car. All hoses and BOV and wastegate are o.k Any idea's????

 

which intake are you using?

 

Did it suddenly happen? Was it gradual?

Boost leak. Do you hear loud pops when it sputters? Are you tuned for your mods?
