I just got into NYC from DFW.... I stayed in Arlington overnight and took 360 up the DFW airport..... I have never seen so many crashed and abandoned cars on the side of the road ever in my life.....

The best crash that I saw was a yellow Mustang GT with a body kit, that spun around and flipped over the 6" curb...

i felt so bad I wanted to offer him a hand in my rental 07 H3

After seeing what I saw today with ice covered roads and sidewalks I will forever drive more cautiously when the weather is bad. and being that I'm from a state that sees snow and ice every season helps me to be more cautious on the road already.....

a buddy of mine hit the road early also to go to work, but decided to turn back and head home

 

drive safe home guys!! i had the day off so i just drove around arlington with the family running some errands.

 

ok well.....after reading the long and pointless thread i should be able to come....but im debating cause....i work till...7:00....so should that give me enough time to come down?? i have some good stories to share about the car...like running from the cops 2x and street racing a cop car( who won you may ask?) and car is dirty as **** cause i had to goto an empty parking lot this moring for a little ice driving lessons....fun. so i should come....if someone can call me around 6:30 to remind me that would be awsome.....

 

Everybody bring your lawn chairs....do you think Chili's will let us take the food outside to eat?

FYI, if it matters, my buddy and his integra won't be making it. He had a prior commitment he forgot about. So, I'll be there, dirty Evo and all.

 

i've been using the 1/4 inch thick layer of ice on my car as a protective layer from the sandblasting my car gets cruising on the highway.

the white evo kinda looks like that urban camo you used to see rappers wear in the late 90's..

 

That's the jacket I'll be wearing tonight. I'm gonna lay on your hood and you won't be able to find me.

it was more like sleet....so i had some traction and there is nothing to crash into in the parking lot.....its the parking lot to my Univeristys football park....very big....

 

Ok thats good.... I almost got owned walking out of the house to the car monday morning, from the doorstep to the car was a slight decline, and I just ice skated from the front door to the car....
