This sucks. I was under the impression that things had changed with the new Japanese management of MMNA. We need to get our hands on Kevin Smith. I would think a good attorney would have a field day with the "Best backed cars..." marketing campaign.

It is absolutely pitiful and they will unlikely see any more of my money because of it...

1) That is not how Kevin Smith acted when he came to our NTEC meeting last year. We need to hold him to his promises. We / Don should be able to contact him and get something done.

2) You need to get your hands on the factory promotional material from Mistu that says "Go forth and modify". That should help settle any legal claims.
this said document does not exist.

from my understanding, this warranty is done through Don herring himself, not mitsu... but don would be the one to answer that question. also, from my understanding, the FP410 didn't have the warranty anyway, and it was only the 310 package that offered it.

last, sense they wont warranty a car with nothing but a TBE and a flash, don't expect them to replace your tranny when you buy the FP410 and blow it when drag racing your buddies mustang.

sense the USDM doesn't hardly have any RA parts, its not a big deal. and of the RA parts they offer, few to none of them offer any power gains. they are mearly cosmetic and or not engine related.

The first sentence goes to my point, yes, there is a mod-friendly deal in Dallas. And I understood the 666 was only one to have no warranty. But again, it's Don's question to answer.

Assuming Don warranties the FR410 - As a business man, it's Don's call to build warranty contingencies into his FP410 package price...and perhaps purchase insurance or a 3rd party warranty.

I suspect there is a way to get past it with only TBE/flash mods. Especially with what we heard from Kevin Smith at the NTEC meeting. But of course the other issue is a seat bolster has nothing to do with drivetrain mods.

Sure...and we'll see what happens if/when RA parts come over in ernest...
