ditto. exhaust can't damage any parts on the car aside from exhaust hangers and maybe melting rear bumper if not put on properly.
i mean there are some mitsu dealerships locally that install clutches backwards.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a mod-friendly dealership in dallas. The dealers have no control whatsoever over warranty. The same regional service manager goes to all the north texas mitsu dealers...so they're all the same. And, as many around here have seen, he is not mod friendly. The other problem is that you can't talk to this guy (Kevin Smith). I would imagine the reason being that logic would supercede most of his thoughts. I am right now dealing with having my warranty on my transfer case voided for having a TBE and a very minimal/safe tune. Yeah, that's it; that's all I have, and somehow that broke my transfer case. I'm not gonna rant over it too much, because I still don't see a way that this won't get resolved when the lawyers get involved...but still...it's just awesome how mitsubishi goes out of their way to screw over lifelong customers.

yeah to the OP: if you are actually expecting any real warranty work done, forget it. i have never seen ramsey drive his car hard, never seen or heard of him ever going tracking or autocrossing or drag racing. quite honestly, when i heard ramseys TC wasn't being covered, i pretty much knew mitsu wouldn't honor a warranty if the car had 0 miles on it and had never been turned on.
for the few cosmetic things, such as the rear wing, and if your lucky, the peeling calipers, sure DH will cover that. but anything that is expensive to replace, mitsu has the say in that and they aren't going to cover it.

You have no warranty, the sooner you realize that, the better you will be. My car was bone stock and they would not fix my seat where the bolster becomes separated from the plastic seat back (most Evos have this problem weather you know it or not). It is absolutely pitiful and they will unlikely see any more of my money because of it...
We wondered where you have been bro! Sorry to hear you are going through this. Some thoughts:
1) That is not how Kevin Smith acted when he came to our NTEC meeting last year. We need to hold him to his promises. We / Don should be able to contact him and get something done.
2) You need to get your hands on the factory promotional material from Mistu that says "Go forth and modify". That should help settle any legal claims.
3) Don is offering modified Evo models up to 410whp which he will warranty. So people let's think about that before we all tort that there are no mod-friendly dealers in Dallas. I'm not saying that it won't be a battle in some cases...and even require legal action.
I wonder if all those OEM RA parts would void warranties.
