A pipe wrench if used correctly will bite more than vise grips. When I say correctly, have the opening of the jaw facing the right (the opposite direction you are turning it) it bites in the harder you apply pressure. They are made specifically for round surfaces, good luck, check your threads for sure when you finally get it out.

Bolt extractors and an impact gun. You'll be all set.

If you have a some muscle in your grip, you can use a pair of channel locks that look like this....

I had a similar problem, on my manifold. I tried to use vice grips, wrenches, and lots of other tools made for this problem however, none of them worked. I actually ended up going to walmart at 1 in the morning and found something called "Gator Grip" this got the bolt off in no time. Heres a link to it:

Aww poor Karen! If I knew where you lived I come over and get it out for you, but I don't. Just like everyone says; just get a Vise-Grip and clamp that sucka on there and turn. Next time you a 12-point box-end wrench. O-rielys sells magnetic oil drain plugs for the Evo so go get one of those.

Yea, if I had some "muscles" I would be set lol. But alas, Im kinda little. I'll give it another go on Saturday when I have time. Im sure I have some channel locks somewhere around here. Hopefully I will be able to get it off.
If not, Joe, I'll call you lol. I live out in Crowley about 15 mins from where you work.
