Apex Driving Academy is pleased to again have the privilege of
operating this event on behalf of Lamborghini Dallas.
This is a FULL DAY event, with track check-in at 8:00 a.m.,
followed by drivers meeting and classroom, depending on your
run group, detailed below. Cost is $195 for each group. Space is
limited, so please register promptly.

Novice: Learn what you and your vehicle can do in a safe, fun low-key
atmosphere. Safety and comfort are first and foremost; drive at your own pace
without any pressure to go fast or arbitrary limits on speed. You will receive
classroom, on-track and in-car instruction designed to make you safer and
more confident in your car. Explore the performance envelope of your vehicle
on a track that is both safe and challenging. You will get at least 4 20 min
sessions consisting of lead and follow and open track driving, as well as
classroom before each session, throughout the day.
Intermediate: Pick up where you left off. We will provide instruction as
needed and plenty of track time. The order of the day will be seat time and
safety. You will get at least 1 classroom session and 4 20 min open track
sessions.
Advanced: You get free reign to enjoy the track limited only by safety. The
qualifications levels are very high, and you must have a competition license or
comparable level of experience that shows you know what you are doing and
need no supervision. You will get at least 4 20 min. open track sessions.

Concorso: Bring your track car, exotic or sports car and show it off. You
might win a trophy. Arrive and park in the Concorso area between 10:00 and
10:30 AM. Turn in ballots by 1:00 PM. Winners will be announced at 2:00 PM in
conjunction with the unveiling of the newest Lamborghini. Trophies: Best of
Show, Best Contemporary (2000-present), Best Mid-timer (1980-1999) and Best
Veteran Car (1979-0lder). No Fees to enter the Show ‘N’ Shine.

*All programs include lunch. Helmets are required except for parade laps.
Long pants and closed toe shoes are also required. We will have limited
helmet rentals available at $15 for the day. This event is rain or shine.

I cant speak for anyone who would like to drive,but I will try to set up a cruise out there for the day. We have many new members who need to see whats going on! Who knows, it may help step up participation for our EVO day this year!

i really want to do this race. any other evos going to be out there. hopefully my car wont die just before the race again

 

Remember this is not a race it is a high performance driving school. Just want to makes sure everyone is on the same page. There is no passing in the corners and no passing w/o lead car signal. This is for every ones safety.

o ok i see. ya i need the school because im a noob when it comes to racing.

 

Some sessions are more OPEN than others. Sometimes, there are graduate groups that of course carry more speed. I dont think you will be disappointed in the speed, maybe just time at speed, (which is something we all seem to seek!)

 

is this day open to MSR members as well?

 

This is the Lambo event so they have rented the track through Apex so members will still have to pay but are welcome to come out.

 

This is just 2 weeks away and starting to fill up. Lamborghini Dallas now informs me that the following extras have been conjured up:

Premier Financial Services will be serving breakfast
Lambo Dallas will serve lunch
Personal Edge (Baylor Hospital) will be giving away a few body scans
Skins Wraps will have decals for cars.
deBoulle will be displaying diamonds and watches.
Some Driving Academy will be there,
A Concorso, show off your car
